Just How We came to Such a State as This Without Really Trying...Part Four

We stayed at WalMart for three days and believe it or not the same people were still living there....the man in the bushes and the young man in his car. There were others...living in their cars and vans...these were these peoples homes. Never thought that America would come to such a state...but it has. Reminds me of what my parents said about the Great Depression...wonder if we are actually in one.

But the time came to an end and we moved to Cabellas which said we could stay three days as well. We did..although each night the teens got together and partied right in the parking lot. I guess it was a common practice. Noisy ..yes...but we did not have much choice as spots to stay. Anything out of the city would have been disastrous for me...remember the buffalo Flies...yikes did not want to leave the city.

The three days were up and we headed back to Walmart....we had to decide on what we were going to do as we could not stay here nor out in the wilderness and we we did not have much money. So when the three days were up we headed back to MacKay.

We felt strange driving back into MacKay and we headed up to the Dam but to our horror the Buffalo Flies had hatched out there as well. We drove about a mile away to paid RV living which was only six dollars a day...we could handle that...so we got settled and the next day notice those Russian nap Weeds ..were blooming right near us...no wonder I was breaking out. No more Free camp RV park...and when the time came for us to leave we headed for a BLM land, Pass Creek Canyon. What a canyon it was..it was like being in Yellowstone and Zions park at the same time. So beautiful but so very high...we were up about 8000 feet .

Again it took me to spoil the whole thing...never really getting over the heart attack. I got sick and had trouble breathing and we had to go back down..the first sign of what was to become known as Altitude sickness.

Back down to MacKay but this time the grounds keeper told us that the town of MacKay would like us to leave as we had over stayed our welcome. They wanted us to leave because lots of rich people were going to be coming in for the Solar Eclipse event and did not want us around..As we had an old trailer and it just was not what they wanted in town.

Well that was a slap on the face .but they were right..we had over stayed our welcome..did not blame them ..so we left.

We headed for a park called Craters of the Moon..as they were supposed to have cheap camping. That was a lie...not cheap and too crowded anyway..so we looked up the next free camp spot which would be the town of Carey Idaho...

Love You guys
