Has been a tough day ….learning to
be a a RV host takes some doing...lol many people asking questions
as the come in and out of this RV park. Still I think it is worth
the doing and know it will get easier as time goes on.
Forgive me for these short blogs but I
am exhausted. Just wanted you to know how it is all going. Love You All
A couple from England pulled back in for the night as they were here yesterday...high IQ ,,,she has gone around the whole world taking pix of the borders of countries. We live 28 miles from the Mexican border so why they are here. Very interesting I have to say and will be leaving you this link to her page http://www.iantheruthven.com/ is worthwhile to go and look. Another gentleman from Scotland sang around of songs last night at the happy hour campfire with an absolutely beautiful voice....was an enjoyable evening of singing. I usually sit in the trailer at this time as I am so allergic to smoke and well I am a tea toddler so I am one of those people sitting on the outside looking in. But love hearing everyone talking and laughing. Hoping to get my box of unfinished cloth dolls out and finish them, Have wanted to finish them for a very long time and think now is a good time. I love hand sewing and these will also make good gifts at some time in the future....
I have been telling you about tilly and our two cats Mimzy and Molly so thought I would add pix of them at the end of this blog When we left Utah last May ..we came across all sorts of animals on our journey. I think the most outstanding one was at MacKay dam when we woke up on that snowy morning and found a moose outside our window munching on a bush .That was something very unusual in our lives even living in Utah had seen them in the distance but never had we seen them so close. The moose saw us looking but ignored us. We were told later never to make eye contact with them (if you meet one out walking) because that makes them very nervous and might charge.,,On seeing how big these guys are I do not think the human in question would come out on top. MacKay dam was teaming with fish and at a flood stage and this area was filled with Bald eagles who preferred fish over other game. We would often see them dive bomb into the water and fly up with a fish. I am sure...
This small town of less then 2000 people is truly amazing and I fell in love love with it immediately. The more I explore what it has to offer... the more in love with it I become. It lies ten miles from here in Coyote Howls and Why and to the nearest grocery store..(.as we have only a gas and goody store here) Also Ajo has a Family Dollar and Dollar General which has become our new Walmart so to speak. It also has the beauty shops, rock shops, second hand stores and restaurants and a number of art galleries. Have not explored all that it has to offer but intend to at some point. The major part of the city is in the town square which is white adobe Mexican styled buildings which include more art galleries, post office, coffee shop and churches. You would swear that you were in Mexico. What I love about this town is that it hold within its boundaries such a mix of people all getting along which amazes me in this day and age. Everyone has been so kind to us and it make...
Thinking of you.....x
